Bike Collective Network
Communication, Collaboration and Bike Grease
The Think Tank : Email List
The mission of the Bike Collective Network is to strengthen and encourage communication and resource sharing between existing and future community bike shops. Collectively we can improve a bigger wheel as opposed to re-inventing smaller ones.

We currently maintain two Yellow Bike Community Bike Shops that are available as a free educational facility open to anyone who wants to learn about fixing and riding bikes. At the Yellow Bike Shop, we don't fix your bike for you; instead, we show you how to fix it yourself. Our Main Shop has eleven work-stations outfitted with tools, repair manuals, bicycle parts, and a warehouse of lonely bikes just waiting to be fixed up and given a new life. The Treasure City Satellite Shop has two work-stands and enough tools and parts to do most basic repairs, but it's not equipped to build a bike from the frame up. We have many active and past projects aimed at getting people on bikes. We target projects to help children and those without the means of purchasing bikes. View our Projects Page for more details.
