Our bike collective is bring the world of disability and inclusion into the world of bike collectives. We will be teaching job skills to low income kids and well as kids and adults with disabilities. All of our programs are intended to be fully inclusive, regardless of ability level, socio-economic status or nationality.

Besides being a lifelong cyclist, I have a variety of experiences in the special needs world and am combining both of these worlds together in our organization. I have a son who is on the Autism Spectrum and have worked with a variety of people with disabilities, both kids and adults as well as physical and intellectual disabilities, through cycling programs, sports coaching, volunteering with other organization and teaching special ed as a substitute. I run a non-profit organization, Assisted Cycling Tours, that takes people of all abilities and their families on bike programs from clinics to tours.

I have 27 years experience in the disability world, 35 years of marketing experience and have been an avid cyclist most of his life. I have participated, with people with disabilities, in events such as Bike MS, Elephant Rock, and other large cycling events as well as has toured parts of Europe by bicycle. In the 10 years I have been running our organization, I have personally worked with over 1,000 people with various physical and developmental disabilities.

I graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Public and Environmental Affairs and a graduate degree from Florida State University in International Affairs. He has also lived and studied part of his undergraduate work in Paris, France.
