VéloCity Bicycle Cooperative is a do-it-yourself bike workshop and educational space. It is a volunteer and donation powered non-profit promoting bicycle community in Alexandria, VA. Their mission is to encourage a vibrant and inclusive cycling community by providing a non-profit, volunteer-run, do-it-yourself workshop for building and maintaining bicycles along with training, rides, and events to empower interaction, skills, fun, and freedom. The coop provides workspace for DIY bike maintenance repair, supported by experienced volunteers, training and workshops on cycling and sustainable living, youth programs, community bike rides and social events, and used bicycle recycling
VéloCity Bicycle Cooperative first opened on May 1st, 2010.
