There are a lot of solutions to this puzzle, and this is just one suitable for a large shop. The goal was to minimize the paths of bikes/parts/tools, while grouping volunteer-only areas together, making it retail-friendly, having a community/dining space, etc. And we really do need an indoor test track because our shop is on the busiest block of a downtown one-way Main St... the very worst place to test ride a bike, especially in the dead of winter. | |||
