Talk:Patriarchy and Bicycle Repair
there might be some copy-paste material in this email I sent out recently: http://lists.bikecollectives.org/htdig.cgi/thethinktank-bikecollectives.org/2016-February/056088.html. I would have copy-pasted most of what I wrote there....--Angel York (talk) 00:20, 16 February 2016 (PST) Expanded on this and made a comment in the women & trans program page. --Angel York (talk) 18:55, 19 February 2016 (PST)
it is important (especially since most of you are likely to be men) to be aware of these issues.
I know this is true from experience. Too true. The most recent meeting minutes I looked at were something like 16/20 male. Do you know if anyone has studied this aspect of bike collectives formally? Or if anyone has done a survey or anything? If not, maybe I should send a question out to the think tank "take a look at your notes, and report how many men/women/other attended your most recent meeting?" or maybe a brief google form, so that it feels more like a survey and more people answer? It's just that I would love to have ballpark numbers on this. --Angel York (talk) 22:22, 24 February 2016 (PST)
