Pedal It Forward collects used bikes, fixes them, then distributes to those in need through our 60+ Pedal Partners. We serve rural and urban low-income kids, adults and families, at-risk youth, minority and immigrant populations in Northwest Arkansas.

History

Pedal It Forward NWA was started by a group of local cyclists who love riding and enjoy the beauty of Northwest Arkansas. They wanted to find a way to help everyone feel the joy and freedom that comes with having a bike. So, a call went out for bike donations.

The response from the community was overwhelming and continues to this day. With the help of local organizations, our program collects, refurbishes, then distributes free or low-cost bicycles to those who can’t afford them.

Services Offered

We provide free bicycles to those in need; generally through our Pedal Partners.

Note: Our shop hours are for volunteers to repair bikes or for you to drop off donations; we do not have a DIY shop. Come by if you'd like to help out - no experience needed.
