General Information

Recycle Ithaca’s Bicycles is a community bike program that has operated in Ithaca for almost thirty years, and which has been a program of Ithaca's Southside Community Center for around twenty of those years, right up until the present day. The mission of RIBs is to affirm, empower, and foster Black leadership and liberation through bicycling in the Ithaca community.

The main function of RIBs has always been open shop which is open to both youth and adults, and requires no fees or memberships, though donations are always welcome and are always greatly helpful.
