Mission Statement We get kids on bikes. Our mission is to inspire confidence and growth through access to cycling, hands-on learning, and the outdoors.


Lucky to Ride operates Lucky Bikes Re-Cyclery, a community-centered, social enterprise bike shop that services and sells affordable, used bicycles. All profits go to support the Lucky to Ride organization and programming.

Lucky to Ride started as a local chapter of Trips for Kids in Denver. In 2020, the organization rebranded as Lucky to Ride.

  • Adventure Rides: adventure-filled mountain bike outings with expert instruction
  • Earn a Bike: a multi-session bicycle education course for middle and high school-aged kids
  • Bike Shop Internship: 3-month paid internship program
