History
The Collective was founded in 2025, with inspiration from Cycles 4 Hope, Beacon Bicycle Coalition, and Somerville Bike Kitchen. A founding member of Newburgh Bike Collective, Yurij L., was previously involved with B2C Bike Kitchen in Malden, MA. The Collective operated out of shipping container in 2025, and moved into their location on Colden Street in 2026.
Services Offered
The shop does not stock any typical consumables for bike repair. Patrons of the DIY shop are encouraged to visit local bicycle shops to purchase items that can be installed at Newburgh's DIY shop. Suggested retailers include Bryan's Bikes in Cornwall, Bikeway in Montgomery, or Beacon Bikes in Beacon.
